Welcome to my cake decorating page. I decided that I wanted to display the cakes that I make but I didn't want to do it on my family blog. So, I will do it here!
After I got married I took a cake decorating class to get out of the house. I got a cake decorating set from my mother-in-law and since then, I have made cakes for my kids' birthdays. I am not a professional and I have a lot to learn! But I enjoy making cakes and my kids like to eat cake. It's a win-win for everyone!
I made this cake for my friend Melanie's baby shower.
This is my favorite cake that I have made thus far. It was a bit time consuming but was well worth the time spent. I used buttercream frosting and I think it was a half chocolate/half white cake.
